Durga Prasad Rimal is a writer and a social worker. He writes Story, Rubai, Ghazal, Poem, etc. Durga Prasad Rimal is based in Australia and has devoted his life to Nepali literature and social work. He has produced and presented Nepali Ethnic Program called SAJHA AWAJ from local community radio. He is the founding coordinator of Create Circle Australia And has been involved in the Literature Council of Bhutan (Country director-Australia) and Ghazal Mushayara Pariwar Australia. He was the editor of Bal Swarna Sahiyta 2061, Amar Spandan Smarika 2065, Kangaroo Ko Desh Bata 2073. In addition, he is the coordinator of Khaiyamlai Prashna (The first historical ruwai collection book). His published books are Bhugolko Naso (भूगोलको नासो, २०७१, गजल संग्रह), Samayako Aayu (समयको आयु, २०७६ रूबाइयात संग्रह), Kangaroo Ko Desh Bata (कंगारूको देशबाट, २०७३, संयुक्त गजल संग्रह), Samakalin Bhutani-Nepali Katha Sangraha (समकालीन भूटानी-नेपाली कथा संग्रह, २०७५, संयुक्त कथा संग्रह) etc. He has written and recorded dozen of songs in the Nepali language.
